Warning: Involves Getting Thick with Dips
New Year’s resolutions can be hard. A recent national Marist Poll reveals that 44% Americans will be making New Year’s resolutions. Only about 68% of those who made resolutions in 2016 partially achieved them. If getting into a healthy mindset and feeling good about yourself are some of your goals this year, then here’s what you could do to find yourself among the few successful achievers.
Word on the gym track is that there is a new fun fitness regimen.
It’s called Dips.
This is not your typical dips exercise.
These dips are so much more worthwhile.
Let’s get to it.
1. Suit up
Feel free to dig into your closet for random Sporting Goods, UNIQLO and TJ Maxx fitness pieces. The pink highlighter color scheme is optional.
2. Perform a mirror check
Attitude fierce? Workout gear on point? Double check.
3. Set the mood
Something with a solid beat to get you moving. Freak Nasty’s “Da Dip” only seems fitting. Hit play!
4. Grab the right equipment
Like Honey and I, Oreos and milk are a classic duo. Make sure you don’t desecrate the sanctity of such a delicious combination with narrow-rimmed drink-ware.
Why limit yourself to one? After all, it’s a new year, a new you, and hopefully a full package of Oreos at your disposal. Complete a few more sets.
You won’t regret it… too much.
