Instructions
Concoct the Green Slime
  1. Follow the instructions on the pudding box, add the food coloring to the mixture as you blend the ingredients. Add as many food coloring as needed to get the right color green. For us, it was 18 or more drops. The original recipe states 8-12 drops.
  2. Cover the mixture and place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or until you are ready to use it.
Make the Cake
  1. Make the 2 cake layers according to the directions on the box.
Prepare the Whipped Cream Filling
  1. Put all the ingredients for the whipped cream together in a medium sized bowl.
  2. With an electric mixer, whip the cream mixture until it forms soft peaks.
Put the Cake Together
  1. Place one layer of the cake on a serving plate. Spread the whipped cream thickly and evenly over the top of the cake.
  2. Put the other layer on top of the whipped cream.
  3. Cover the cake with foil and refrigerate it until you're ready to serve it.
Slime the Cake
  1. Pour the pudding into a large plastic bag with a zipper closing. Carefully seal the bag, leaving a small opening for the slime to come through.
  2. Remove the cake from the refrigerator, unwrap it and set it down.
  3. Slowly tip the bag of slime over the cake and slime away!
  4. Decorate with candles or if not for immediate consumption, place the cake back in the refrigerator.
Recipe Notes

From the lessons we've learned from our own experience, we're straying from the recipe order and suggest making the slime first due to the minimum 1 hour chill period.
